We had a cozy stay with clean shared bathrooms and a comfortable atmosphere in our room that made us feel right at home. There are nice lounge areas and a lovely garden to relax in after a long day of exploring. The only downside was that we couldn’t get access to the laundry facilities when we needed them, but overall, it was a great experience! 😊

The guesthouse is located in a calm area, perfect for relaxing after exploring north Iceland. Our room was simply decorated but well appointed, providing ample space for our luggage and hanging clothes. The bathroom had great water pressure, making showering a pleasure.
The only downside was the room we received was a bit further uphill than expected.

great stay but some accessibility concerns
The room offered ample space for our luggage and hanging clothes. Breakfast options were diverse and served in staggered slots, ensuring a pleasant environment. The location provided stunning mountain views that enhanced our experience and made for a picturesque setting during our stay.
The room assigned to us was a bit uphill, which might pose mobility challenges for some guests.

would definitely book here again.
Clean room with a nice view. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the 3 course dinner. Breakfast options were plenty and served at staggered times, so it was not crowded. Our room felt very comfortable with good amenities like a flat-screen TV and heating. Great staff, super attention to detail!

nice lounge areas, beautiful garden, functional room layout
The breakfast seating arrangement could use better organization!!! It’s frustrating to hear neighbors snoring through the thin walls, disrupting your peace!!! A more accessible laundry facility would improve the stay significantly!!!

The compact Triple Room offered a table, microwave, fridge, and kettle, making it convenient for quick meals. The overall arrangement of the facilities was functional, fitting for short stays with decent amenities nearby.
Unfortunately, we couldn't access the laundry room to dry our soaked clothes, which was a letdown given it was a reason we chose this place. the shared kitchen lacked easy access to water since we had to rely on the bathroom sink during peak times, which was a hassle. There was also some noise insulation issues, as you could hear conversations clearly through the walls, disrupting sleep when quiet was expected.

The Twin Room with Shared Bathroom was cozy and warm, perfect for us. The shared bathroom was clean, and even though we shared it with another couple, it never felt cramped. The views from our room were amazing, and it felt really authentic being in one of those tiny red houses. Breakfast had plenty of options, but the bread could have been fresher. Would definitely recommend it for a northern lights experience!
